Bio.
Aya is a lawyer in the Litigation Group at BLP Lawyers, where she practices in civil and commercial litigation, as well as in matters related to labor law and real estate law.
A graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Montreal in 2023, Aya began her journey at BLP in 2024 as a law student. She then completed her articling period at the firm and was called to the bar in 2025, further strengthening her legal skills, knowledge, and expertise.
Prior to her law studies, Aya won the CSQ-Juripop pleading competition in criminal law. She also gained experience as a legal assistant in a notary office, where she worked with notaries in various real estate transactions and in drafting legal documents.
Committed to her community, Aya actively volunteers for the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation and served as coordinator for the Projet Sapin des Fêtes, a non-profit organization that provides new gifts to underprivileged children. She has also volunteered at her university legal clinic, assisting with the integration of immigrants into the Quebec labor market.
