Bio.
Charles is a lawyer with BLP Avocats' business law team, where he focuses his practice on commercial financing, banking law, and corporate transactions. He advises both lenders and borrowers on debt financing transactions, acquisition financing, general corporate financing, shareholder issues, and corporate reorganizations.
He completed his bachelor's degree in law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Sherbrooke, where he represented the Faculty at the United Nations simulation in New York. His academic background also includes an enriching semester at the Faculty of Law of the University of Grenoble Alpes in France.
Charles completed his internship at a large national law firm in Montreal, then worked on the commercial financing team of the legal department of a major Canadian financial institution. There, he gained solid experience in corporate finance, particularly in relation to share and asset transfers. Before joining BLP, Charles also contributed to the activities of the QG100 Network, a Quebec-based group of business leaders, which strengthened his strategic understanding of the business issues executives face.
Pragmatic, rigorous, and results-oriented, Charles is recognized for his ability to propose clear and effective legal solutions while building strong relationships of trust with his clients.
