Bio.
Yara, has significant legal experience acquired in both Lebanon and Quebec. A member of the Beirut Bar since 2021, she holds a bachelor's degree in law and a master's degree in private law from Saint-Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon. After arriving in Quebec, she completed her equivalence in Quebec law at the Université de Montréal, where she graduated in 2023, while gaining practical experience at BLP.
After successfully passing the Quebec Bar exams, completing the Bar’s legal clinic, and finishing her six-month articling period, she was officially sworn in as a lawyer.
Parallel to her legal work, Yara is pursuing graduate studies in dispute prevention and resolution at the Université de Sherbrooke.
Before joining BLP, she practiced civil and commercial law in Lebanon, areas which remain at the heart of her current activity.
