Bio.

Géraldine holds a doctorate in law and is a member of the Paris (France) and Quebec bars. She is the senior associate in charge of the financing law department at BLP Avocats.

Her practice focuses primarily on banking, finance and corporate law. Pragmatic and meticulous, with excellent drafting and interpersonal skills, she represents both lenders and corporate borrowers in complex Canadian and cross-border financing transactions, asset financing, acquisition financing, and project financing.

Prior to joining BLP Avocats, Géraldine spent nearly fifteen years in France, where she gained a wealth of professional experience and expertise in various areas of law. She first worked in international banking and finance law firms, notably on cross-border syndicated loans for financial institutions. Driven by a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Géraldine then forged her own practice where she strengthened her expertise in business and corporate law, assisting a variety of clients including SMEs and private equity firms.
